that sad face!

Maverick has this way of making me feel so sad. just the way he walks sometimes and that sad face look. but i know hes not sad he jsut makes me sad. but then i lean down and say come here and he kidney beans it and his nubby is just a going. that makes me feel so much better. does anyone else's baby make you feel this way?

That face overflows my heart with love. I lose all control and hug my babies so tightly.

ahhh the boxer charm.... Jake did that to me especially when he wanted something or when he wanted to make me feel guilty for leaving him at home...

Ares does that when we leave or she wants something. But the face when I leave without her is unbearable! We only leave for an hour or two at a time but she gets so sad! I dont know what she wil do when I go back to work.

Taren, when Maverick puts "the look" on his face, and makes you feel terrible, you have to think about what is going on in his mind.

Somwhow, they know!
They know how to wring every speck of attention and love and hugs out of us.
They know how to look sooo needy, staring at our supper!
The next time Maverick pulls that sad puss face on you,... laugh!!

I'm with you, Elyse! The sad face just turns me to mush and I just love on Beasley even more. It's the eyes...I swear it's those beautiful dark brown eyes...

Beau seems to know when I'm getting ready to leave for work or class. He mopes around the house and eventually gets on the bed, lies down and gets a horribly sad look on his face and sighs. I give him lots of hugs and kisses and pretty much have to drag him to his crate. It tears me up every time I have to leave my boys.

They do always seem to know how to get to ya. Darby also knows when we are getting ready to go to work. She will do one of two things....She will lay in bed under the covers with that look on her face that melts your heart (she knows that if she stays in bed long enough we will go in and love on her be for we leave) or she will lay in front of the door and look at you like "Why cant I go!" They are just so darn cute !!!! You got to love them.

Baxter gives us that sad look and the sigh it really does just melt your heart.
When we get ready to leave in the morning he gets his leash and lays his mushy face on it and lets out this big sigh. We know he so sad when we have to go to work. My husband calls the week-ends happy days. We take him every where we go. And I know that my husband and I enjoy it every bit as much as Baxter does. What did we ever do before he came into our life?
