My Bella is now 18 months old and all of a sudden, she can not hear or behave. She has also started being distructive and jumping on my kitchen counters.
She has always been a digger, but never chewed furniture or anything else in the house.

I do remember Napoleon going through this, but it was so long ago, I don't remember how long it lasts or how to put a stop to it.

Any ideas???

I've been feeling the same way! Reesee is 14 months and is getting pretty defiant. She has decided that behaviors she knows are wrong are ok again and she starts barking and throwing a tantrum when scolded. I wish I had some help for you, but we're in the same boat. Hopefully someone will have an idea!

Yep, they have hit the teen stage and typical boxer antics - pushing boundries, forgetting anything learned, being defiant, doing everything they shouldn't.

Best thing to do is go back to basics.....and I mean treat them like 2 months olds with potty training, command training, NILF, etc. This stage will last a few months but being diligent on your training now will pay off when they find their brain again!

On a side note: this is typically the stage that boxer owners seem to want to give up and turn them in to shelters. If only they could have waited it out and worked on training, their "beloved" boxers would be the best dogs anyone could wish for.
