Teddy's-Sis
Boxer Pal
I hope that I can finally find some answers to a question even my vet has had a hard time answering:confused: . Since I have had ted he has always had problems with the tips of his ears splitting. He does not have his ears docked and they are very, easily agitated. It seems to be the worst during the winter months but this past year has been un-real. My mom had to develop a hat made of fleece and mesh for ted to wear (unwillingly, and to his dismay for almost 5 months) to avoid his ears from "snapping" when he shakes his head, mind you this time it almost seemed like the skin would shear off and refuse to heal. I have to admit that the hat as embarassing as it was for my mookie, did seem to help but I am wondering is it a normal occurance for Boxers to have this happen and is there anything I can do to prevent it????? The most the vet could come up with was vaseline his ears b4 going out side but I am skeptical. Any input would be appreciated and at least tried.
