Oh yeah:D

We've had our share of tearing the bed stories too;)

Krose is such an angel with us, like I said before, the little devil awakens when he is alone!!! I knew he was going to do such a thing, so I sewed two pillows together too:) That was his bed and still is. He would tear it apart, I would sew them back together:D This happened 3 times and I decided not to put his bed on the floor when left alone. He would look at me with sad puppy eyes when I was taking his bed to another room which he wouldn't have access to.
Right now, he doesn't do anything to his bed. He loves his bed. :) It has to do with the age too;)

As a mom with 2 young skin kids, we have also "donated" our crib mattresses to the dogs and they work EXCELLENT! They are comfy and I highly recommend them for a dog bed. It is not an easy bed to destroy!

Ginger (at 5-1/2 mos.) will NOT leave the big comforter/blanket on top of the mattress! She does not rip it up, but she drags it everywhere, including into the back yard! Her 16 year old sibling (Terrier mix named Thumper) watches her do it with a look on his face like he thinks she is a total idiot! At the ripe ol' age of 16, he can really appreciate the luxury of a nice soft clean blanket a top his nice comfy vinyl mattress! Thumper, and I, are both hoping Ginger will catch on soon! Kids! :D

My girl has a 10am routine that she goes through EVERY day. She sleeps in our bedroom in her "condo" and has a huge sheepskin bed in there with numerous big fluffy beach towels that she arranges just so every night.

I get her up at 6am (definately not a morning dog), she goes potty and heads back inside to the living room to her big (daddy bought me with love) pillow and crashes for another hour or two. Then breakfast, another potty break and then it's time to UNMAKE her bed.

She heads into the bedroom, straight into her condo and procedes to dismantle her entire bed. First by dragging out each beach towel into the family room, followed by the sheepskin bed then the fleece covered pad.

Once she is down to the bare liner in the condo she does one last inspection to make sure she hasn't forgotten any piece of bedding and then comes back into the family room to chek out her handy work. She jumps on all the pieces, does her famous nosedives onto each peice and then does her gymnastics routine on them, summersaluts and tumbles.....

Then after about 30 minutes its over and I pick it all back up and place it back in the condo and it's already for her when it's time to return.....

She has never (knock on lot's of wood) ever destroyed anything....just plays with it all. It never donned on me that she would destroy bedding.....I will have to keep a close wtch on her because usually after I read something here on Boxerworld, she must sense it and she ends up displaying behavoiur that I just read about!!!!!!
