I know many of you recommend 'eye envy'..

I havent been able to find that specific brand of tear stain remover, but i have tried another one which is sold locally..

It doesnt seem to be doing much though and is a bit difficult to get our puppy to stay still for long enough to let us put it on him..

His tears are brown'ish and quite dark.. Is there anything else you guys can recommend to get him cleaned up? Something we can add to his diet?

His diet right now is orijen regional red and he is a little over 5 months old.. Aside from that, he seems real healthy

There is a product called Angel eyes that is supposed to work really well. It is a food supplement. They have a website....

Tear stains are usually a big indicator of allergies. You may want to try either changing foods or using filtered water and see if that solves the issue.

My boy's tear stains return when he's given something he's allergic to or if I do not use filtered water for him.

I'd recommend staying away from products, a nice warm wash cloth and gently wiping the eye area 1-2 times a day just does as well. But finding the problem and remedying it is the easiest fix.

Good luck!

I agree with the Apple Cider Vinegar. One teaspoon in each meal. It took a few weeks but it definitely cleared Dukes stains up. Need to get unfiltered - I use Braggs, but Trader Joes also sells one too. Good Luck
