Does anyone with white boxers know how to remove the dark tearstains under their eyes? We just rescued a white baby and are unsure of how to remove them! I purchased a formula from Petsmart, but it doesnt appear to be doing the trick...I want her eyes to be clear and pretty- Just like her!

i wipe under theirr eyes everyday...a few times a day...with warm water on a cotton ball and then i dry it off with an antibacterial baby wipe.
also, what kind of food are you feeding? when we changed foods....our girl's tear stains went away. we switched to a food that was all natural. no preservatives, artifical colors...etc. same goes for treats. no artificial ANYTHING. red dyes, etc.
sometimes tear stains are caused by ear infections....allergies......sometimes it's bacteria from excessive tearing....could also be a clogged tear duct.
once you and your vet have ruled out any type of infection.......try switching foods.
and just keep being consistant with the cleaning.

Also, a little Apple Cider Vinegar in their drinking water or food will help dimish these tear stains. Get the organic kind and start by just putting a drop in until they are used to the taste then work your way up to about a tbls a day (you can mix it with yogurt if need be). ACV also helps with the digestive system, too!

Granted, Samson is not a white boxer, but we had issues when we first got him and I agree that it could be diet. We now have him on Canidae and supplement his food with Alaskan salmon oil and he no longer gets the tear staining.

As far as cleaning them now, I like the puppy wipes for regular cleaning. I think that over time, with good nutrition and regular cleaning, you will find the stains to be less and less.
