metal guard on outside
Our puppy is only 11 weeks old, but we do have a screen door and she pokes at it and wants to lean up on it. luckily, the house we live in had a decorative metal barrier on the outside of the door. it covers the lower half of the door and screws in on each side, when she leans up, her weight is on it and not so much the screen, it has helped so far, but i'm not sure how it would stand up to a full grown boxer. the metal guard is basically metal bars that run vertically and they have little curly deals on the end, i have no idea what they are actually called, so just trying to describe it the best i can. good luck
