I see alot of people feeding and reccomending this food but isnt this made by diamond pet food company....who have had alot of recalls in the past on their diamond brands?

i wonder if they are all processed and manufactured in the same factories using the same equipement....maybe even the same ingredients?

maybe im just being pessimistic i don't know but it seems interesting that one company can manufacture foods on 2 oposite ends of the "quality" spectrum?

Not to bad the food - it obviously is a great food for some dogs out there, as we all know not 1 food is perfect for every single dog, just wondering if anyone else has ever had the same thoughts as myself :O)

I did a quick internet search on the topic and found that the Diamond recalls were due to a mold found in/on grains, however Taste of the Wild is completely grain-free. So definitely not the same ingredients. Not sure about the possibility of cross-contamination from using the same equipment to manufacture these two different foods (if in fact that actually does happen; it might not).

That is honestly part of why I haven't been keen on trying TOTW (did try it for a few bags when I was broke and not working, but Johann didn't do well on it).

I love Orijen/Acana products. :)

i love orijen and acana too - i would be feeding it if it wernt for my one boys kidney issues - i took him off it and his kidney values were way down within 2 months. :(

I'm glad your boy is doing better on a different food. :) Every dog reacts differently to foods.
