My little girl does the funniest thing... and I just want to see if anyone elses pups do the same....

When she is sleeping, she makes these little barking, whimpering sounds...I call it chasing rabbitts in her dreams! It's such a cute little sound.

Oh Yea

Oh yea... Mia does it all the time. She even has dreams that she is nursing from her mother. She has her tounge sticking out just a little, as well as a sucking noise. It is one of the cutiest things... I cannot help but smile when she does this.

Rocky does the same thing. He will be sleeping and start moving his legs and barking. It is funny to watch.

Dayla does this...as well as the nursing thing. In the middle of the night I hear this little sucking noise and find it coming from her little mouth, her litte tongue stuck out ever so softly...so adorable!
Im falling more and more in love with her each day...

Jake definitely does this, but not all the time. In fact, my husband and I were talking about it last night. He never believed dogs thought or felt until we adopted Jake. Now he's a believer!

How funny that you posted this..
I was just watching TV with Cooper at my feet, and he started growling! I was shocked and looked down, he was fast asleep.

Tina is a big girl but she also whines, barks and "runs" in the sleep :) Sometimes she starts breating hard and sniffing the air and move her paws - it looks very funny. It's amazing to know that animals and dogs in particular see dreams when they sleep.

Jazz and Mac do the whimpering and dreaming things too. Almost every night Jazz goes thru a period once or twice of really hard dreaming, shuddering, moving in almost spasm like movements. I was worried about her thinking it might be seizures until Mac was sleeping with us while waiting for Michael to come home. He did the same thing so I am assuming it is normal.

Another sleep thing Jazz does is; she HAS to have some part of her body touching me. I get up a lot during the night and if I leave the room she she is right under my feet following me. I can't have a midnight snack without feeling guilty and have to get her something too. If I just go to the bathroom and she can see me, she lays there watching me and doesn't get up and when I get back in bed she puts her paw on me like a hug. I love my baby girl!!!!!
