We used to have a great dane that did this, But never like this!!!
Our boxer Layla was born on Christmas she is about 11 1/2 weeks old and last week while playing with her she started talking
I mean Talking! the sides of her tongue curled up towards the roof of her mouth and a whole sentence of something came out!
I was pointing my finger at her and shaking it. She goes crazy for this trick. Sounded almost like she was saying I love you the words were almost audible. I just couldn't believe it.
Has anyone else ever had thier boxer talk?
We also have a part coyote and part blue healer male dog that howls every night and I guess she has taken to this because she also howls now. When ever she wants your attention she howls this sweet howl that sounds like her voice is going.

Amy woo's so much it sounds as if she is stringing whole sentences together. My other Boxers also woo, but not to the extent of Amy. If you do a search on wooing or similar there are lots of threads about it.
