Taking em out from behind..

My Missy....she has this playful habit of hers where she runs up behind you full force and wraps both of her paws around your calf/shin, makes your knees buckle and almost fall to the floor. This is her way of saying "let's get it on" I'm assuming. Does anybody elses Boxer do this?

Yes!!!

Darien does this. He also does this to people when they try to leave. Some people find it disconcerting. I think its kind of funny though. Especially when they try to get their foot back and he just holds on to it with his front paws.

thats funny mine don't do that to people but they kinda do it to each other they bite each other right behind thier back leg .............

Funny indeed! I try not to encourage it, but when I see her do it to my 6-foot-5-inch hubby and almost take him down, I just can't contain myself. And, yes, she also does the "you're not leaving here without a fight" by grabbing onto your leg/foot/shoelace/sock, whatever she can get her paws on to hold you back. Too funny!

Heidi will do this to us when she's "ready to rumble." It's like we are going to play now and I'm not taking no for an answer!

Barney loves this

but now mostly only does it with me - I have learnt to flex the knee rather than just keel over and we have incorporated it into playing. He only does it during play time too, especially if I am heading off to sit down and he isn't done yet!

Of course, when he walks off......I do it to him too tehehehe

Oh Yes

Mina does this when I have her outside with her soccer ball. My favorite thing is when she mouths my sleeve to my sweater to get my attention when I'm walking through the house.
