bailey is also on beta blockers for his heart. 3 a day and they are TINY..like the size fo a lentil! he is a total expert at NOT swallowing them! we would find them all over the house all white (they start off pink) where hes had them in his mouth for AGES! small cube of cheese works amazingly. ive discovered that he chews the first bit to see what it is then thee second goes straight down, so he gets a decoy bit first!!!!!!
if all else fails rubbing the tablet in a small bit of butter and putting it far back in the throat usually means they cant get it back up again. ive tried stashing it in amongst his food but theres always a wee white tab left in the totally likcked clean bowl!!!! yet he comes running the minuite he hears the tablet bottle rattle now that he associates it with good stuf!!!
