He would stand by his food bowl and just whine and cry. I would just give him part of his supper and the rest of his supper later. His breakfast and supper is one and a half chicken leg quarters. So for his snack, I gave him half a leg quarter and supper is just one leg quarter. I will try to reduce his food and see if that helps. I was so happy this morning with normal poo and he had supper at 6 and went out at 6:45 and his poo was loose again. I will not give him anymore pumpkin. Just read on other threads to do that for loose stools. But then, that wasn't on the raw threads now that I think of it. I wasn't going to give him anything but chicken for a couple weeks. I was just wondering about the fish later on down the road. In case it happens to go on sale, I would pick some up.
Thank you for taking the time to help me with this. I can't express enough how much I appreciate everyone and boxerworld in general.

You could certainly add in some fish in a couple of weeks. There is no reason that you can't feed three meals a day forever if you want. Most dogs a some point decide that they really aren't hungry at lunch time, so then you can stop feeding it. Three quarters a day seems like a lot, unless they are very samll quarters. It could be why he is not always hungry. How many pounds is it?

I try to adjust the quarters. Some of them are rather large and some are small. I am feeding him a total of 2 pounds per day. If he doesn't seem to want it after about 5-10 min, I just stick it back in the fridge and give it to him at his next feeding. His poo does seem to be getting better. Starts out somewhat hard, but then softens up as he poos. Tons better than the water like that he did have. Would it hurt to give him chicken neck or back for more bone along with meat to make up his total 2 pounds per day? Just to make sure I am figuring right, he is 8 months old and weighs 47 pounds. His mom was approximately 80-85 pounds and his dad was approximately 90-95 pounds. His dad was total muscle, not overweight. I am figuring 2-3% of his estimated adult weight which I am figuring about 85-90 pounds. Thanks again Betsy and Jan
