switching foods...

How often do people actually switch foods?

I have been feeding Coda Canidae Lamb & Rice for 4 months and she's done great with it. Not only that it's convenient because the day care she goes too sells it.

Can I just switch between lamb&rice, alllife, and chicken & rice for the variety? Is there enough variety between them?
If not, what is other food people would recommend.

The whole recall thing has me somewhat scared to pick out something new when everything I've seen and read on Canidae seems to be good.

I switch my 11 month old practically every bag (33 lbs). He is now on Timberwolf Black Forest. I switch in the same family of Timberwolf but different meat source (such as fish to chicken to venison, to bison and etc). Everytime I switch I still switch it over 10 days as my dog seems to have quite sensitive stomach. As Timberwolf Black Forest is quite low in Protein, only 22% which is the lowest level a puppy can have, I feed him also raw meat in between.
