Wasn't true then, isn't now. And they certainly haven't started adding arsenic to the product in the meantime.

Gosh reading that post scared the heck out of me cuz 3 months ago i had heard the same thing but i called swifter myself and asked if it was harmfull and i was told no it is not harmfull so i continued to use mine. Glad its a myth.

I use them as well (my whole house is tile)and trust me if a dog were going to get sick, it would be my Lexi and she has never had an issue. Also, it dries really quick so if anyone is still worried, you can keep them out of the room and it is dry in like 3 minutes.-amy

We use the Clorox Redi-Mop, basically the same thing as the Swiffer, and it sure came in handy during potty-training for those occasional accidents. I had not heard this rumor before but would have panicked and tossed it out, and had a lot more hassles when it came time to needing a quick clean-up. Glad to hear they are safe after all.
