SW FL boxer bash- Tampa

Hi,
Trish, Domino's mom and I were chatting on another Florida thread about getting together the first weekend in March. That would be the 1st (Sat) or 2nd (Sun). I would like to plan on one and start inviting! It would be a long trek for me so I want to invite all of Tulley's playmates from far and wide. I am sure he would be the one that could go since he just soaks up doggy attention.
The further south the park is, the better. I am an hour and a half south of Brandon. Maybe Trish can pick out a park.
Who can come play?

Invite as many as friends as possible. I would love to see a good turn out.

Ashlie, Have you contacted anyone at boxer rescue to see if they would be interested in joining also? I know I had e-mailed Hattie, and she expressed interest in a boxer bash.....Though she said they didn't have one planned. I would definitly be there.....With Harley and Jaz!!!!!! If you guys wanted to head towards Orlando we have a great leashless dog park here in Sanford....Big, with tables, doggie showers automatic water for boxer slurpies and plenty of doggie doo bags......we frequent there!!!

Ft. Desoto sounds great. I have invited a former foster from the Orlando area who may be in Tampa the first and second of March. I will put something on the volunteer list for FBR also. I will also be inviting two past fosters from the Tampa area who are both around a year and one has a year old boxer sibling. They sometimes see boxers at the park so maybe word of mouth will add more to the crowd!

I just found out that March 1st is the 2003 "Bowser Games" for Pinellas Animal Foundation. Two weekends later is the FBR annual meeting, and the following week is my town's humane society Furry Skurry. So March seems a bit full. I don't think many would make it for the March 1st weekend if another doggy event is going on. My only free day that month is March 8th. Any others free then?

how about....

why don't we plan it for April......gives us time to get people to come...will be nicer weather.....kind of a way to prepare....my hubby just found out today that he has to fly to L.A for work for the next 8-10 days....so I have to be at home with kids....

All the weekends in April are spoken for here. I think the weekend of Easter is open. I am doing some workshops and will be working six days a week that month. )-:
Maybe by April you'll find some others to come out though.

Hey all Can I get a yes on who will be coming to the Tampa Boxer Bash. It will be the first either Sat or Sunday in April(5th or 6th).

I could definitely come on Sunday, April 6th. Unfortunately, in April I am doing training for work every Saturday but one.
If it is a go on that Sunday, I will try to invite my Tampa fosters (that would be 3 fosters plus two sibling boxers. I also have a foster from Orlando that visits Tampa often. Hopefully a few of them could come!)
Tulley loves to play! I know he will be happy to have the new foster boy come home tomorrow.
