MOST ANNOYING HABIT: gas
IF ALONE IN A ROOM WITH A CAT I WOULD: chase it and lick it until it lays down on my belly and takes a nap
COUCH POTATO OR ATHLETE: usually athlete but in the evenings I like to take up the whole couch myself
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WATER: I abhor it when it involves a bath! But, I love to drink it for minutes at a time without breathing and then slop it all over the kitchen floor.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: When Mommy's on call at the hospital, me and my brother Boomer get to sleep on the bed with Dad. We pretty much take up the whole thing and push the humans toward the edge. I think they should invest in a king size bed. If both Mom and Dad are home, we only get to sleep on the bed for the first half of the night when Mom wins. Then, its to our crates!

NAME: Gunner (but Mom calls me Gunner Bear) and Dad calls me Goober (Mom doesn't like that name!)
AGE: I'll be four in January
WEIGHT: My vet says I'm overweight. I'm 82 pounds but I'm not too tall - maybe a little too wide
COLOR: flashy fawn
FAVORITE TOY: I really like my frog. It's big and green and says ribbitt. I carry it around in my mouth whenever Mom and Dad come home.
MOST ANNOYING HABIT: I have a few. WHen it's lunch time or dinner time bark in Mom and Dad's face and don't stop until I'm fed. I bark exactly at 12:00 noon and at 5:00 pm. After eating I generally have a gas problem!
IF ALONE IN A ROOM WITH A CAT I WOULD: Chase it, chase it, chase it. Then when it hides from me and I can't get it I would stand there and bark and bark and bark.
COUCH POTATO OR ATHLETE: Oh I think I'm a couch potato for sure. I tend to lay around and sleep a good part of the day. I generally like Mom and Dad's king sized bed with the select comfort mattress. My next choice would be the sofa in the living room as long as I have a pillow for my head. Next choice is in front of the front door on the rug in the afternoon sun.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WATER: Oh brother do I hate it when it rains. Mom actually expects me to walk outside on the wet grass. Yuck! I hate it hate it hate it. I try to walk on the mulched flower beds and keep off that wet yucky grass.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: One thing my parents made sure of was to keep mes in my crates at night. Otherwise I know I'd be right up on the bed between them with my sister Daisy. (She's another boxer, of course)! We each have our own big big crate that is in the extra bathroom next to my Mom and Dad's bedroom.
DO YOU LIKE PLAYING IN THE SNOW: What's snow? I live in Florida.
PEOPLE OR DOGS: I love people. I love them so much I lick them and lick them. I sit beside the company on the sofa and lick them and pant in their face. Then they scratch my ears and I give them a big old boxer sigh. But I do like a few dogs (Crash and Boomer my nephews who live in North Carolina and Elvis my black lab friend who lives in Georgia)
HOW DO YOU SHOW YOUR HUMANS YOU LOVE THEM: Licking always is the best. I can do it for hours. I also wiggle my behind pretty well if I do say so myself to show them how happy I am to see them.
LEASH OR FENCE: I don't like to walk on the leash much. I generally end up pulling and jumping up and grabbing it with my mouth and tugging. Mom gets mad. She tried to train me and worked with me for a long long time. I heard her tell Dad one time that that's the last time she is ever going to walk me and my sister again. So we enjoy running out in the yard. We have to watch out for the invisible fence though. I only got zapped twice - not bad for four years!
FAVORITE PERSON: I think mom is my favorite because she is usually the one who is with me the most. Dad is great too because he takes me and Daisy for rides in his truck almost everyday. We try to help him drive. My Nanny comes over and cooks a special lunch for me (chicken and dumplings or steak and gravy) YUMMM.
DRY OR CANNED:Both - dry and canned mixed and of course, I always get a little treat on top - a piece of hot dog or balogna or cottage cheese or an egg.
DO YOU DROOL: Oh yeahhhhhhh. When you eat something I start drooling anticipating a bite and I can't stop.
FAVORITE HUMAN FOOD: Oh I have a hard time with this one. I have so many. I love to eat more than anything in the world. I think steak is probably the best, though.
BARKING: Of course. That's what dogs do isn't it? I bark when I see anything move outside. I'm guarding - always on the watch.Even when I'm napping - not much gets past me. And like I said before, I tell Mom and Dad when it's time to eat. Sometimes they actually forget.
