Good Morning! Last night was a much better night. After Doug picked her up from the vet, she was a little more spunky. She hates it at the vet, and I guess she stood the whole time after they had to finally lock her up. Luckily my boyfriend got off work early so he went to pick her up. She actually ate some food at the vet too. appicon

She slept most of the evening and all through the night! I am sure she was exhausted from standing for almost 6 hours. I don't know how she did it. I was able to get her to eat a little bit last night, she still isn't drinking water though. That concerns me. She goes in today to get her IV out, so hopefully she will start drinking water so they don't have to poke her anymore. She has had no vomiting or diaherra. So that is a HUGE plus!

Now if we could just magicially add about 10 pounds to her all would be wonderful. But looks like we are on the right track anyway!!!!

I told Brandi all about her well wishes from Boxerworld and her little nub and butt was just a wiggling!!! Thank you! :D

HUGS!!!

I'm so glad to hear that Brandi seems to be on the right track to recovery. I hope she is able to keep herself hydrated soon!

Best of luck to both of you - and lots of love and well wishes from our family!

Glad she is doing better. I ended up getting Gauge's stomach tacked also. His stomach would flip out of place when he was young and he would be in great pain. Lucky each time it flipped back. One time he was in such pain that I called my vet out of bed and meet her at the clinic. I ended up assisting her put a tube down Gauge's stomach and assisting with xrays. The stomach had by that time flipped back into place. She said enough was enough and I left him there and they tacked his stomach that day. It was a really hard recovery for Gauge, but he is now his normal nutty self and I am glad we did the surgery.
