Boxer Pal
I am making the move to California Natural for my boxer who has major tummy sensitivity.

When feeding CN are supplements necessary? There are not alot of ingredients and I am concerned about deficiency.

Thanks.

I think it kind of depends. If the food is part of a general rotation - not the only thing the dog is going to eat for months on end, then I don't think supplements are necessary. But if it is the only thing he's going to eat and he's going to stay on it for a long period, then extras is probably a good idea. IMO it is better to feed supplements in natural form than as powders and pills though. A bit of additional meat, the occassional egg, and some canned fish now and again isn't terribly onerous.
