Super glue

My Molly chewed a tube of super glue. I scraped most off of her teeth. I am not sure if she swallowed any. Is it toxic to dogs? Has this happened to anyone?

A friend of mine's yellow lab chewed up a tube of super glue a couple of years back. She said that it dried to his lips (but they didn't stick). She said that it felt like sand paper for a couple of weeks though! Poor guy! She called the poison control Hot-line and they told her just to monitor him (watching for signs of diahrrea, vomiting, unusual behavior, etc...). He turned out to be fine! But I would call a vet or poison control just to see.

I agree with Chiefsmom, I would just give the vet or animal poison control a call just to be sure. Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks for the info. I did check with our vet. Molly is fine except her teeth are a little rough. I was able to pull some of it off and I guess the rest will wear off.
