sunscreen for white boxers?

I have a 12 week old white Boxer named Daisy, I have read that white boxers can burn easy. Is there a special sunscreen I can use?

I needed to ask the same question for Beau. I know there is a special sunscreen for dogs, but I'm not sure where to get it. Hopefully, someone will be able to tell us!

Hi -

You can try using something like Coppertone Waterbabies, it has a high SPF and is pretty gentle as it is formulated for use in infants and toddlers. I read this info on another dog board since this is can be an issue with almost any white coated dog.

Thats what I use on my white boy. It works great and is gentle. Make sure you get their ears really good that seems to be where Tango gets a lil pink really quickly.

I use sunblock on Avra only at the sandy beach,she has not problem on the city and it's the same sunblock that i use on my face,SPF 54
