Sunburn? Possible? Preventatives?

HI!

Our boy is a full-gown white boxer.

I swear he gets pink in the sun. He LOVES to be outside -- any options to sunscreen?????

Anyone else notice this?

Yes, I've heard white boxers are prone to sunburn. I'm not sure what you could put on him to prevent it, maybe someone else will be able to help with that.

Spud is also a white boxer and as the weather is hotting up here I am also concerned about him getting sunburnt...he loves the sun so much!
The only advice I've been given so far is to apply sunscreen but if I hear of any alternative to that I will let u know

Baby formula sunscreen helps. My horse was white and her little pink nose would get burned all the time until I put the sunscreen on and she never got burned after I started using it on her. I would only recommend the baby formula because it is more gentle.

I know that Avon makes some SPF sprays?? I don't think that sunscreen would hurt them at all, and I bet it would be easier to spray them with it instead of rubbing something into their coat.

Baby sunscreen or T-shirts should help. I have a white foster coming next week. I bought a bottle of Target Brand baby sunscreen SPH 45- I figured that should do the trick
