Sun Spots?

Our Lexi has a few random fur discolorations. Are these sun spots? I don't see a rash or bumps under her fur. Can the sun cause a change in fur color?

Chanceys fawn coloration isn't uniform either. I just chalk up to her individual uniqueness. I'm not sure if the sun fades coats or not-sorry.
