Summer Heat

Greetings,

I have a 5 month Boxer girl named Harley. She seems to really dislike the heat when it's above 80 or so. She breaths heavy and moves around a lot at night when she is sleeping. I'm just wondering if this is common because her coat is so short it seems if I'm fine, she should be fine. Are boxers very sensitive to heat?

boxers do not do well in heat or cold.
that is why they need to be inside dog's.
my guys do not like heat at all. even when we go to the park now
it is to hot for them.
so now that summer is upon us here in south florida
we go after supper.:)

they do not like the heat. chloe wants to be inside with the air on. only goes out to do her business and back in. my rottie maxi too is not fond of the heat but tolerates it better then chloe. in the winter chloe is okay with the cold i put a coat on her when the girls go out to play but like any other animal should not be left outside. chloe goes out in the cold because maxi loves the brisk weather and would stay out all day if she had her way. and chloe feels she is missing out on something is she isnt out with maxi.
