For the past couple of days my 14 week old boxer has been acting out of character, usually when we aree laying down or getting ready to go to sleep she would put her paws up on the bed, look at us and if we gave no response she would just lay down and go to sleep, for 2 days now when she puts her paws and the bed and looks at us she starts barking and barking until she gets our attention then when we give the command to stop she continues to do it. I live in an apartment complex and will soon be moving into a house (which will make things a bit easier) and I cannot have her barking like that, any advice on how to discipline her? It get extremely frustrating espcially since it just started. Thanks in advance.

Maybe she just wants goodnight lovins!! I love on Bandit for 5 or 10 minutes before we go to bed. He's a little more than 3 months now and recently started the barking thing. He doesn't really do it anymore 'cause he knows it wont work for attention. I just ignored him, and it worked like a charm. He comes up to me and lays his chin on my leg, the edge of the bed, or something close if a simple sit doesn't work. Totally ignoring the bad stuff and really praising the good stuff will get results and make for a happier mom and dad, and a happy pup!

Casper barked for attention when he was a pup as hard as it was we just totally ignored him. He eventually got the message, it's hard to ignore them but it works as even telling them off is giving them attention.
