Is it me or is there a stubborn streak????
Maximus has been to trainng we have done it together and at times he just REFUSES to listen. The cocked head to the side and the look of "What language are you speaking?" I find it hard to stay serious, and I have to hold back the laughter.
Other than that he is everything I coulkd have aasked for. Boxer's are the best!!!
Maximus will soon be 8 months old and his pushing 45 lbs.
He also loves to be with people, young or old, when I have company he redefines excitement.

I had to laugh when I read this..........Both George (boxer kid) and Tia (skin kid)

Have a condition called 'selective hearing'

Symptoms: they can't hear if they don't look you in the eye....they seem to think you don't speak English..........or as if you've suddenly grown horns out of your head.......:LOL:

Anyone know of the Cure?

Boomer is the same way...perfect in the ring, but ignors me in public. :rolleyes: He's also a completely different dog with his training collar on. He's 13 months, and I hope he grows out of this phase soon!!!

Boz is quite stubborn as well, but he seems to pay a LOT more attention and be very eager to please when I have a treat in my hand. :rolleyes: What silly boxers!

Cayenne did this towards the end of her CGC class. I couldn't believe it. So we have taken a little break from Obiedance class. I call it our summer vacation. We are enrolled to start back in September. Now that we are not in class she is doing every thing the first time I ask her. Silly girl. Must have been her teen rebelliousness coming through.
