Friday evening something really weird happened to my Charlie..I am not really sure how to describe it, but it has happened one other time. He was playing catch earlier in the day with DH and while chasing the ball had run into the stairwell wall. Well that evening he was acting strange and when I looked down at him, his lower eyelids were very Very droopy and his eyes were halfway rolled back in his head. He would look at you but couldn't bring his eyeball down. As time went on...he ended up in the chair with his cornea's almost completely rolled back and he wouldnt leave the chair. There are no emergency vets available here on weekends...so we sat up most of the evening watching him. He slept and the next morning it was like he came out of it, and was perfectly fine. That was 6 months ago so we forgot about it....until it happened again this friday evening but this time we didnt see him hit his head on anything so cant blame that. Again in the morning he was feeling great again. He is 9 plus years old...do you think he is having strokes?

I dont know about this, but I would certainly check with my Vet. When Baxter goes to sleep, his head hanging off the chair, his eyes are sometimes half open and his eye balls are rolled back- yuck- so this could be okay? When we sleep the eye balls move around. I thing this is the way they are.
When he is like this is he conscious ? Can you wake him? I have gone over to shake Baxter awake to make sure he is okay and he just opens his eyes like to say " I'm sleeping here what do you want?"
But I would still have him checked out.

he is wide awake

No he was wide awake standing in front of me when he did this and it lasted for a few hours before he slept for the night. So you can imagine how this freaked me out. I was hoping someone here would know what this was. I feel funny taking him to the vet now....because he is perfectly normal at the moment. Happy and healthy with no symptoms what so ever.

I would certainly check with my vet if you haven't done so already! It doesn't sound like a situation that you can let slide! Good luck! Keep us posted please!
