strange eating habits

My name is Shaun, I'm a new mom to a wonderful boxer named Zeus. Lately he has started to eat some strange things, such as rocks and dirt. I don't know if anyone has had the same problem, but I don't know if he's not getting enough to eat at feeding times or what. Zeus is 13 weeks old and I feed him 3 times a day for a total of about 31/2 cups of food. Any suggestions would be great.

My Dempsey is also 13 weeks old and he eats EVERYTHING but his food. He will eat anything that is on the floor, grass, dirt, rocks, whatever he can get into his little mouth. The other day he vomitted up some very interesting objects. I heard it is normal puppy behavior to eat and chew on everything. I also heard if they are chewing and eating everything that they are bored. But we are constantly playing with Dempsey, so I dotn believe that is the case. We have a hard time getting him to eat his food. We have tried different types and brand but he is such a picky eater. 3 1/2 cups a day for a 13 week old is plenty. We give Dempsey 3 cups. How much does Zues weigh?
