Oh Ang, I'm so sorry to hear that Storm has had such a setback. I know what you mean about the financial stress. Our babies are worth every penny but it does make times pretty tight for awhile. We call Macon our Million dollar baby and tell her she's joined the Million Dollar Dog club. Of course it's not really a Million we've spent but too much to keep track anymore

good & bad news..

Thanks again to everyone who has posted support for Storm. Her operation went well and she seemed to recover from that quiet quickly and for a day was back to her normal self. It is looking good that her eye will be okay for the long trip home for Christmas

However she has now got an ear infection which has made her miserable :( I have never seen her so sad. All she does is sleep and seems lifeless - poor girl, I just wish she could be well! So back to the vet today (the ear infection was picked up during her last operation and she has been on meds since). Last night I nearly took her to the emergency vet because she was shaking and didn't seem to be breathing right. I wrapped her in a blanket and she picked up a little but BF is taking her in this morning.

So the eye is healing well and hopefully her ear will clear up soon too! She's certainly had her share of downfalls over the last few weeks!
