Still looking

Nothing yet, but I'm still looking. It has been almost five months, but I still believe that I will find her.
She is still sighted in downtown, and I believe that this summer she will be out more, making it easier to find her.

I just can't believe that the person that has her just thinks that it is okay to keep her.

Thanks for thinking of us, and one day I'll be posting the news that I have found her.

Count on it.smashicon

I keep checking this post as well...hoping that Dippy has returned...

Well maybe you can take some small comfort in the fact that someone has her so you know she is being fed and has a roof over her head..

You too will be reunited, I know it......

I feel sorry for whomever has your dog as they will never know what kind of bond a boxer owner and their dog can share...only you and dippy will ever truely know that bond...

Going though the samething

My Lexis was stolen no 11/15/01. We have tried everything we can to get her back. I wish there was something that I can do. But there is still hope in me. I hope the people who took them will give in and let them come home to us. Good luck!!!!

At this point you may be more interested in putting this nightmare behind you, but have you considered hiring a private detective? It's not as expensive as you might think - and though it wouldn't guarantee results it's probably a better bet than a reward. Look in the Yellow pages (usually under 'investigators') - there should be a listing. A lot of times they're retired cops and pretty dedicated guys. Especially if you feel you know the general area, a private eye could stake it out. I know, it sounds like something from a bad movie, but these people really exist and do good work. I have a good PD friend in Cleveland (who also happens to be a big-time dog person) - he might be able to recommend somebody down in Cincinnati (or make some other good suggestions) if you're interested.
I can't imagine what this must have been like for you. There are bad people out there.

I feel your pain and heartach. My Lexy was stolen on 9-11, but I still have hope that she will be found. I know she's out there and I know that if you pray and believe we will both be reunited with our baby girls. I wish you all the best and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

As all are, I am hoping the best for you, your husband and remaining furbaby. I am sure your positive attitude will help you through this, and am sure you are right in that Dip will be spotted again and again, as all of us are too weak to resist taking the babies out for jaunt in the beautiful weather. I am just curious as to what this moron is going to say as an excuse for putting you (and us) through this hell.

I think that the detective idea is a great one. I would check into it if I were in your shoes.

In the meantime, remember that we are all think of you and you and Dip are in Joe, Jersey and my prayers!!

Keep your head up!
