Still Looking in Colorado

My family is still looking to adopt a boxer in the Denver, Colorado area. We've applied with HOBO-Care, but haven't heard anything back from them, and I'm watching the shelters via www.petharbor.com and www.petfinder.org.

We'd like a male who's at least 2 years old and he HAS to be good with children, since we have 4 of them. I'm willing to travel a fair distance if it's for the right dog.

I don't know what other options I have besides the local shelters and HOBO-Care, so if anyone has other ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

Try Dreampower-ARF or all breed rescue

My wife and I wanted to adopt a boxer, applied and never heard back here in colorado. I sent out a long and detailed email explaining what kind of dog we would like to dreampower and all breed rescue here in the springs figuring as long as the dog fits into what the family can handle, than we have the love to give to an animal in need. Dreampower reponded in about 2 hours, they had just gotten a boxer, who fit everything in our criteria, and we already understood boxer, etc So in the end we did end up with another boxer, just like we wanted. My wife did call Hobo care because she thought that we an app with them, but they had no record of it.
