I am so sorry for your loss!! We made the same incredibly hard decision today. Our little Jack Russell Milo also suffered from Kidney Failure and we tried everything but in the end he was suffering to much. I hope for us both that each day passing eases the pain!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It's hard to come home to an empty house. And there are times that i have this nagging "gotta get home" feeling b/c I have a puppy at home that needs cared for. It's sad when i have to push that feeling aside b/c it's not true. I guess time will help.
On the bright side, our 4 year old daughter is doing way better than we expected. She has bright attitude of "don't worry, we'll see her again one day!" which helps the rest of us. Oh to be a kid again.
