Since 11-15, my two have been on the pre-made BARF brand "Bravo." They eat either the turkey or beef blend. Since Reznor has always had issues w/chicken and they are both having skin issues right now, feeding chicken is not an option. Because of the cost of the Bravo, we want to start creating some of their meals ourselves. I looked thru the BARF site, but there is so much info! What is the simplest, best way to start? Where do you buy the meat from? Curently w/ the Bravo and all of their supplements and stuff, their food costs as much as ours! I think I read something a while ago about the So-Cal co-op or something like that. Is this what most people do? I apologive because I am sure that this question has been discussed many times. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Hi
I get all my meats fresh from the butcher & chicken wholesaler, vegies are from thr fruit & veg shop. My butcher knows what my meat purchase is for & he discounts it when I buy it in superbulk & will also mince it no charge for me.

You may want to go through your yellow pages and see if there is a listing for a wholesale butcher - that is how I found mine. Good luck - Cathy
