Boxer Pal
Hi, I came across this site yesterday as I was searching boxer traits...curious if our boxer was normal, being goofy, clumsy, and so expressive. And to my surprise, it seems to be the breed!
This is our first boxer, so we had no idea what we were in for. I rescued her from a back yard, full grown and weighing only 35 lbs. Long story, anyway, we've had her for 2 years and she is now a healthy 55 lbs (she is tall & lanky, not short and stocky & muscular like some boxers I've seen) and a total goof ball!!
I was reading the trait posts, and she does most of them, probably all of them I just havent caught them all yet. She runs around the yard like a banshee, sighs, has terribly STINKY gas, jumps up and hugs me around the waist, kidney beans, gives me smileys, chews up ANYTHING, is afraid of a little noise in the dark, terrified of thunder, wipes her face after dinner, smiles after dinner with her tongue curled up, lays flat on her back with feet in the air...the list goes on!
I enjoy her very much but my husband gets mad at her often because she eats things....and destroys things. So we have learned that anything important has to be put away out of reach (out of sight really, because she even knocks stuff off shelves out of her reach)
Anyway I look forward to this board. I have uploaded a few photos of her.
She is white with brown & black mask & brown ears. One large brown spot center-back.
