Super Boxer
On Sunday night we notice our baby boy Tigger was limping, we felt his leg and it wasn't sore to touch but when i touched his paw he started licking it and me so i guessed he'd hurt it - brandy has done this too but is ok in a little while so hubby and i said if he is still limping at all tomorrow then of to the vet we'd go.
Monday morning his limp seemed worse so i made an appointment for him after work of cause mummy worried that he was ok all day and gave herself a migraine (sp?? bad headache) we go to the vet and after both babies say hello they love our new vets - she said Tigger seems to have sprained one of his middle toes on the front foot - poor baby she gave him an anti-inflammatory needle - my baby is so good and brave he didn't even whimper and of course she said to keep him calm then looked at me and said "well as calm as possible for a boxer"
so he has some meds to help take the swelling in the foot down and if he is no better in a few days we will take him back for an xray he has to go back on Saturday so she can check it anyway.
The thing i find funny is he still jumps and bounces and runs flat out after brandy with no signs of being in pain then when he walks he favours it. hubby thinks he's done it when playing with brandy in the yard chasing her doing the boxer burn threw big muddy puddles (we had had a huge storm a little earlier) and slipped silly boy.
i cant wait to go home and check he is ok today my poor baby - he's not even 6 mths (still has 11 days to get to that one) atleast he will crashout on the lounge when we get home and rest his foot - much to brandy's disgust
cause she just wants to play.
