Spots on white Boxers

I was just wondering if all white Boxers get the spotting on there skin. Ive seen a few pictures with some that have alot and some have few to none. My fawn and brindle have the spotting on there chest where its white.

I have a white Boxer. She is 7months now. When we first met with her breeder, she was pure white with only a fawn patch on her left eye. As she has gotten older, the more spots Neva has gotten. It sarted out as spots on her skin and has come through on her fur in light brown spots. The white gene is usually more recessive in a flashy fawn only coming through in patches. The spots you are seeing is the more dominant fawn gene coming throug in the underlying white. My Neva has so many spots now that had her white gene not been so dominant, she would have been fawn. Hope this helps a bit.

No skin spots yet on the little guy, i was just wondering if they will appear. I would rather he stay white but if they appear i will still love the little guy.

So you think his nose and lips will fill in black? I was really hoping that they would stay pink. He just looks so cute. I understand the sun can do more damage to those areas though so it would be better if they fill in black. Thanks for the help.

Luka has loads of pigmented spots now, he was pure white as a baby puppy

Diesel had alot of pinky spots on his nose and lips when he was very little, alot of it has filled in with black but he still has a pink lip on one side that turns red when he is realy excited! He also has alot more spots on his chest than he used to.

I see Luka still has pink spots on his nose at 8 months (BTW He is so sweet with those patches around his eyes.) Didnt check his age right now, does he still have the pink on his nose and lips? I worry about the sun damage they will get on all those pink areas.

This was my exact comment to DH when we got Payton!!! She does have sponts now, but not as many as I notice on some whites. You will be amazed at how you don't fret about it like you thought you would. I told DH I would love Pay less if she got spots (knowing this was a lie....I just wanted her to stay white)......when the spots started comming out....it was not that big of a deal. But if you would of asked me a month before I would of said it would be.

PS...if you look in my gallery you can see Pay as a baby with the pink nose,.,,,,and now in her Christmas hat with her full black nose and part black lips. She has one pink spot in her nose still....everyone thinks it is a buger and tries to get it...

Yeah at first i was a bit worried about the spots but now i love the little guy so much i could care less about spots. Im more worried about keeping him out of the sun now. Thanks for all your input guys.
