Clyde seems to be doing much better when we leave him. The biggest problem we had was leaving him in his crate and within 10 minutes he would have soiled it. He appears to be doing much better with this. It's a 50/50 chance. We had a perfect "no accident" weekend which made us very happy. We've spoken to a few behaviourists in our neighbourhood and they've given us suggestions to improve his confidence. We're going to start sending him to a daycare again. We took him out a couple of months ago because we felt he was getting too aggressive. NO DISCIPLINE!! I think he's very lonely when we leave him. We know someone who takes a group of dogs to the farm for the day. We're going to try this a couple of days a week and then I'll be home full-time in a month so hopefully that will make him feel a little better. I am interested in trying an agility program especially if this might boost his confidence.

Does anyone know how I can find out about these programs in my area? (north Toronto/Richmond Hill/King area)

Thanks.

Some big problems here, but also great answers :)
My Becky is going thru some sort of "everything spooks me" period. Living in Florida where thunderstorms happen every day now, is of no help. She runs for her life at a clap of thunder and hides behind doors or in a dark bathroom. But, any louder sound that she is noy familiar with is enough to send her running!! She stayed with friends for 2 weeks as we were on vacation in UK, and her fear seems to be worse :( She has even gone off her normal feeding times. She was not this bad before, so I am wondering if the separation had any effect on her?
I would be glad of any suggestions as to what to do, especially regarding her food.
