My Mac whines! I mean he really whines like a skin kid, not a dog. I wish there were some way to get the audio of him whining on this board. He used to do it occasionally, now he does it all the time if he doesn't get his way. If I am not paying him as much attention as he thinks he should have, he whines. If Jazz goes outside, he whines. He goes to the treat can and whines. If someone goes outside Mac goes to the door and whines. Over and over. It may be that he is really missing his skin brother Michael. Michael won't be home until in August so he is just going to have to make do with the rest of us!

Mac was so funny today I turned around from my desk and caught him wrestling on the bed with Jazz over their favorite nasty looking old rawhide chew. They have newer ones, a box full of toys, but they both love this old chew. I have attached a picture of them in this post and will do a second post to show how sad poor old Macky looks!

Mac knows I won't allow him to take things away from Jazz when they are around me so he climbed on the bed and walked all over it, laid down, got up, and generally whined his little heart out until his sweet sister gave him the rawhide chew. Guess she got tired of listening to him.

My Killian is a whiner also. My Darcy is a barker. If one of the other boxers has a toy she wants she will stand in front of them and just bark and bark and bark until it gets on their nerves and they give it to her to shut her up.

Super Boxer
My big guy whines. It is mostly when there is a cat in the yard but he will if we don't get up and feed him in the morning. My girl gets him to do it because she is always standing there along side of him, she is more of a barker. My first Boxer talked, she would almost form words! It was her best trick and she would tell you some things when she wanted your attention. It is funny how they all communicate differently.

I love those pictures! My dogs are not as polite. Chance will just take whatever he wants and Rocky just walks away looking sad. Chance is a growler.

I agree with houseofski, how could you possibly deny that face ANYTHING?

I think they must practice in the mirror

Jasper is my vocal puppy. He doesn't whine often, only at dinner time and when Piper won't go outside to play. Jasper "talks" a LOT when he plays though....woo woos.
