One of our Thors self appointed jobs is to keep the kitchen floor free from ant bits of anything that fall from above. He is ever vigilant eating everything including vegetables and enjoying it which surprised me. Last night I was frying some long hot peppers and while stirring one slipped out and hit the floor. sure enough Thor was right on the job and before I even knew he was there it was gone. I expected to see some interesting after effects but he actually sat next to me begging for more! A dog after my own taste. Maybe I will share my sushi with him next time too.

Isn't it amazing what they'll eat?? Magnum takes this duty very seriously too...as well as making sure all the counter tops are clean to a safe distance back! One day when DH and I were a little careless he helped him self to half a bag of jalopino chips and half of a fresh rhubarb pie (it was cooled off). Later that same day a friend "accidentally" gave him a buffalo wing! I was expecting some repercussions to all that spicy food, but it didn't seem to have any effect.....he must have an iron tummy.

My husband is Spanish so Austin gets lots of spicy foods! He loves them, but usually ends up with some serious gas! BTW, if you don't mind my asking where in New Jersey are you?
He didnt foam at all.... just drooled , but then again when doesnt he ?
we are in south jersey near Glassboro and Washington township.
Thor will eat anything but he is very good about stealing food. the kids eat at the coffe table and leave their plate he sniffs it but rarely ( I can only think of one time ) will he actually steal anything..... and if you offer him something he takes it so slowly and carefully ....I usually just offer it to him and then put it on the floor, if I wated for him to take it I would be there all day.

LOL if he's anything like Diesel he probably swallowed without chewing so it didn't bother him! 
I always joke that since Dozer ate all the plants in my yard i'll plant hot peppers and teach him a lesson! After reading this I don't think it would work anyway!

Semmi will actually start DROOLING and bubbling at the mouth when I am cooking szcheuan (spelling...) food. SHE LOVES IT! Anything with spice in it, she is all about it...
