Specially trained Boxer for autistic boy paid for by community.

Hello, I haven't posted in here in a long time. I think maybe once or twice in the past few years. Good to see you guys going strong.

The reason I stopped by was I read my morning paper and saw a big picture of a Boxer on the front page. Of course having two of my own I was all excited. I read the article and was stunned by how wonderful it was. My wife said she cried when she read it.

Here is the article. The picture shown was the same that took over the front page of the paper.

Wow, that is a great article and a great thing for that young boy! Thanks for sharing. It's great to see a boxer help out a family in need of a special dog. It's just another reason why boxers are so great! It looks like the young boy just adores his new dog already.

Claire will make everyone proud! Especially the Boxer community I don't know that there is a better breed to choose to help a child like that...she will be great! She is worth a lot of money though, I sure hope the wrong people don't see that article or hear about it and try to dognap her :(. It's sad to even think that, but some people will do anything for a buck! I've heard of people stealing handicap accessable vans!!!

That article made my day! I work with individuals with disabilties; and they all get a kick out of how many boxer collectables I have around my office. What better article to hang up. The two look like best buds already! We're all very proud of Claire! Thanks for sharing!

Wow that story brought tears to my eyes! I used to work with autistic children, and this program is amazing! I only wish every child that struggles with autism could have the benefit of a specially trained dog (a boxer no less!). What a wonderful thing for Claire... a boxer couldn't ask for a better vocation

What a heart warming story! Sometimes our furry friends can accomplish goals that humans have not figured out how to do. I hope they do a follow up story so we can see the results.
