gross

Yup i guess that is pretty gross.
I guess i am lucky i am getting a female..LOL
I have read just the opposite about getting them done early...she will be a bit over 3 months old when this is done.
I KNOW i will be thinking about her all day MONDAY
What should i be looking for ..ie infection...how large is the cut on their bellies?

Konah's Mom

Boxer Booster
My spaniel's scar was a only about 1 1/2 inches and she recovered completely in about 1 week, then we took the stitches out a week later (just to be safe). Jazz was fine after a day (she wsa pretty sleepy the day it was done). Konah get's his stictches out on friday.

Super Boo

Completely Boxer Crazy
Even though we waited 'til 6 mos or so to have Boo spayed, my vet was more than willing to do it earlier--she said they actually bounce back quicker. The incision was about an inch long. She was sore and groggy for about 3 days, then we struggled to keep her mellow until the stitches came out--after 2 weeks. I think it is very wise of your breeder to spay before sending the puppies--that shows she is a responsible breeder. We had to sign a contract agreeing to spay when we purchased both our dogs.

Good luck and Congratulations!!
