Is this normal? Brandy was spayed Tuesday and she still doesn't have an appetiet I was able to get her to eat 2 of her favorite cookies but not her normal food.
Spayed on Tuesday still not eating?

We jus had our 7 month old spayed 2 weeks ago. I received a care letter from the vet that he might not have a bowl movement for a day or so but
went for one as soon as the hubby brought him home form the vet. The letter also mentioned lack of appetite for 24 hrs. If more than that then to contact them. Kai ate what the vet alotted (1/2 his usual dinner) and went
straight to sleep. Next day all was as usual. He was playfull as ever and eating well. The only thing I noticed was lack of appetite for water but even that imprioved by the 2nd day. If I'd noticed no appetite for 2 days I would have taken him back to the vet. I think to be on the safe side I would call the vet and check. At least that way they will be able to better assess if

If she is drinking I would worry very much. Although I would contact your vet and let them know. Her tummy is probably still a little upset. Your vet can give you something to sooth her tummy.
Sandy didn't really eat anything for several days after her spay but she was drinking water. She seemed a little depressed and wanted to sleep most of the time. I was told this is perfectly normal, just watch her. Then all of a sudden she was up and going again.
