Southern Maryland

[Independence]

Looking for a play date in Southern Maryland. We live in LaPlata. There are 2 dog parks close by one in White Plains (w/water) and one in LaPlata (bring your own water).

Let Indy and me know if you are interested.

We live in columbia Md. Pretty close to you guys. We just got Emma's tags from the county so now she is good to go. We are going to take her to that one in Ellicot city I think. Small world.

I'm about 40 south of Annapolis but Indy loves car rides.

Where is the Puppy Park in Severna Park????? I would love to go there. I live in Glen Burnie but all of my family is in good old S.P.

The park is off of College park way. About 2 miles past the Anne Arundel Comm. College. It is called Broadneck Park.

Take Rt 2 to College Pkw (the road Anne Arundel Community College is on). Once you're on College Parkway you'll go about 3 miles and Broadneck park is on the right. It's a small entrance so it would be easy to miss. The dog area is right as you get into the park on the left.
There are no parking, entrance or dog area fees. For the Anne Arundel county parks you are required to have a valid rabies vaccine and county license from whatever county you live in.

Thats great to know! The only one I knew of was the one at Quiet Waters in Annapolis. I know right where that park is.
