I went out to do my weekly chore of picking up Soph's "leavings" and guess what I found? I found fiber filling (toy stuffing) all fluffed up and sticking out of one pile, a cigarette butt in another, and a kleenex in another! Ah-Ha, Sophie you are caught! I came in and checked her sleep toy that she has had for 2 years and yes, there was this tiny little place where she had pulled stuffing. (now sewn up) Don't know where she got the butt, and we have had colds from (you know where) so the kleenex is no surprise as it is one of her fav snacks! Ya can't get anything past Mom, Soph! Napoleon loves all paper: kleenex, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc,
He bury's it in the back yard and digs it up when he wants. He will come show it to me and take off running, wanting me to chase. I don't guess it will hurt them, he eats it all the time.

Too funny, and too true! It is my son's job to "clean up the poo" in the back yard. A few days ago he comes in the house all disgusted after doing the duty and says, MOM, I know where my gameboy game went! Needless to say, he is much more responsible about keeping his bedroom door closed.

LOL this thread made me laugh out loud the title was just too funny.
I can relate to this post so well.. I always thought that Riley was the only boxer with a paper fetish.. Guess not LOL ( but he was our first boxer)
Our beloved Riley, also loved anything made out of paper, He absolutely loved empty paper towel rolls. he thought that they were the GREATEST toys he would play with it for hours, until he became bored, and then would shred it up into tiny pieces for Mom to clean up. We always had to keep our bathroom doors closed, because he also loved to raid the bathroom trash cans which are usually filled with (Paper) and he loved to sneak in and steal something and run like crazy wanting us to chase him. just like Napoleon!!
I remember giving chase many times. But I think he loved the fact that we were chasing him and that meant fun time for him. I also remember seeing a few white stuffings sticking out of his poo too :D;eek: that he had eaten out of his toys also. So we had to be careful, everytime we'd see a hole in one of his stuffed toys. I would either sew it up or pull every piece of stuffing out and then he'd only have the fur shell to play with, come to think of, <G> he had many unstuffed toys in his toy box, but he still played with them.
Now Cody our new boxer puppy.. seems to love paper too. he will sneak kleenex out of the trash or your napkin off your lap as your eating and run boxer crazy. So I guess there are many recycler boxer babies.
Our crazy boxers guess that why we love them so much.. they are such commedians. and we don't have to pay a cover charge.and the show never ends, nor the laughter or the love lovicon
Thanks for sharing. I love funny boxer stories, also ones that give me some wonderful memories of my Riley and Cody our newest recycler!!
