Songs you sing to your dog.

Does anyone else do this? My woman thinks I'm nuts but I can't help it.

My boy is named Winston and I often sing the melody from New York, New York adding in Winston Wiggle Butt.

And I have a guilty pleasure for funk music so I like to sing Atomic Dog by George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars. Its fun.

All the time!

We are always substituting the names of our fur babies in songs... the first one that comes to my mind is Molly, Molly, Molly Molly...... MOLLY (for the Apprentice theme song Money, Money, Money, Money....MONEY!) for our 8.5 year old lab Molly. I could name a million more - I thought we were alone in our silliness! Don't puppy dogs make our lives so much better?!

We sing to Lola all the time!!!! The two songs she hears the most are Copacabana by Barry Manilow and Lola by the Kinks because her name is in both songs. My husband even changes the words to fit her. Something about those boxers makes us humans act as silly as them But I think Lola's favorite song to hear is the song from the Jumbone (dog treat) commerical (My big dog don't want a little bone...).fiesta1ico She goes nuts when she hears it because she is hoping for a Jumbone!!

I sing the rubber duckie song to them when I give them a bath. I chanage some of the words to Zeusey ducey your the one, that makes bath time so much fun. Most of the time I just make up stuff to sing to them.

I sing to Boomer all the time, my favorite is "Boomer, Boomer the dog" to the tune of Scooby Doo. My BF thought I was carzy but now he sings to him too!!!

I make up songs to sing to Titan. My most popular one is to flop his jaws while I sing "my momma loves me she thinks I'm a pretty boy" over and over to him, he loves it! When I give our other dog a bath I sing to him "Rub a dub dub one Joey in the tub, got a hot date with a cute little poodle down the street" Everybody thinks I'm nuts around here But the funniest thing is when I tell Titan to "sing me a song" and he starts his woo woo songs. I want to laugh so hard but then he'll stop. He's so cute and he does it on commmand that's what's so hilarious. Silly boy Titan

Funny Story

When my baby Uncus was alive I used to sing to him Who are you by the Who and he would go crazy. It would go "WHO ARE YOU, WHO WHO, WHO WHO" He would jump around me and try to sing along, but it would only be that song that he would react like that. Its funny, whenever I hear that song it brings me right back singing to my big Baby boy and makes me smile where ever I am. Boxers they are the greatest comedians.

I make up my own as well. Some giddy old broadway ditty. I sing "Gonna get the can of whoop spank, then I'm gonna spank your butts" they go nuts!
