My name is jennifer and my boxer's name is lily ann(some of you may have seen her pictures on here).I have a major problem with lily.She was diagnosed Sunday with parvo,although she is uptodate with all her vaccines.The doctor is treating her daily with iv fluids and shots but she doesnt seem to be doing any better.what can i do?please help.I love my baby girl and I cant sit here and watch her die.

jennifer, im so sorry to hear what you and lily are going through, the only thing i can say is dont give up fight for her by being there and talking to her and telling her you love her, someone we know, their dog contacted parvo two years ago and was very ill but with the medicines and care today he pulled through his illness took time but he got better,please keep us posted on lilys condition and i will keep you both in my thoughts

Just be with her, let her know she isn't alone :) Is she at the vets now or at home? If she is at home and going down hill id take her to an emergency vet. I hope she pulls through for you.

Our rescue, Buster, also became ill and was diagnosed with Parvo following his vaccinations. He had been found as a stray, and was emaciated to begin with, so we were really frightened about his poor prognosis. He did not respond immediately to the IV meds, but he eventually overcame the illness. Our "chunky monkey" is now 18 months old with boundless energy, so hang in there. Sending lots of healing thoughts and prayers. Do keep us posted ~ Cathy

I'm so sorry Jennifer Lily is ill with parvo. Hang in there. My co-worker had a puppy that got it and she is fine now. I hope she will get better but the best place fro her right now is at the vet's for treatment. Visit her and give her support.

I'm so sorry to hear that your baby has parvo. My Ty had it at 10 weeks old. It was so scary and we spent a few days praying like crazy. He spent Friday through Monday at the vets. He is now a 9 month old, 64 pound, crazy bundle of boxer love! Ty and I are sending Lily LOTS of good, healing vibes! Please keep us posted on your baby.

This is Jennifer here.Just an update on Lily Anns problem with parvo.She is going to be just fine!She is back to her nomal hyper,barking self today.Thank you for all of your advise and prayers.God has delivered my baby girl!!
