I have been reading up on this supplement that is called seameal. My impression is that it aids digestion, helps to boost the immune system among other thing and my be beneficial to both my dogs but to Tyson in particular as it may help to cure his demodex faster. Has any one heard of or tried this? If so what do you think? Also, I guess there are probiotics found in this stuff and amino acids I was told it would also help to prevent cancer, help prevent allergic reactions and supply many of the essential amino acids! I am wondering if this is just a waste of my money or if my skepticism stems from my being raised in western medicine!?! Thanks and god bless Tyson and Ali's mom

I've certainly heard of this product, but I've never used it. I have used other Solid Gold products, including the Hund n' Flocken that I feed to Ozzie.

I think you're absolutely on the right track using the seameal for the reasons you've mentioned. In general, most of the products like seameal, kelp, and spirulina are all so high in nutrient content that I honestly think it's pretty hard to go wrong in using them.

I don't think you're wasting your money at all! Good luck to you guys.

Bob.

You might want to check PB Pet Supplies online... they carry a seameal formula very close to Solid Gold, but at half the price.

We used the Seameal on Joe when we first got him b/c his coat was very dry and wiry, and now he shines like glass. Its pricey, but I was thorougly impressed with it. We also feed our boys the Solid Gold adult dog food and couldnt be happier with it. Again, its not cheap, especially considering my boys eat more than 75 pounds of it a month, but their health is important to me, and after reading about all the horrible things that are in commercial dog foods (INCLUDING Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet), I just couldn't feed that crap to them. I wouldn't give that food to my worst enemy. They are my boys and I want them to be around for as long as possible.
