Sock Problem

Does anyone elses boxer LOVE chewing on socks? Well Pimp was just getting over a upset tummy then yesterday morning he ate a pair of my fiances socks w/o us knowing about it. Well I came home last night to diarreha in his cage and him puking up socks. Then this am I caught him trying to eat another pair of my fiances socks!!!!

Bayleigh loves socks, too. She doesn't eat or chew them...just likes to grab and run, hoping someone will chase her. She also like underwear, t shirts, towels, basically any item of clothing left on the floor. We have learned not to chase her!

I hope Pimp's tummy feels better. Silly Pimp...leave those socks alone!

Lucky only likes socks if they are on our feet! He goes crazy trying to get them off. I hope pimp starts feeling better, we are sending lots of healing vibes.

i would be very careful, i know there have been a few threads on here about boxers and socks and there have been incidents where the sock may cause a blockage and possibly may need surgery to remove it. i hope he feels better and i know its a pain not being able to leave your socks about but the best thing would be to make sure all of them are away from him so he cant get them.

I have a daily sock theif! But he does not eat the, or chew them, he just want to play! He will shake his head and the sock with hit him from side to side. We don't encourage it, but get a good laugh when he does steal one!

I already lashed out at my fiance for leaving him socks onthe table in the am becasue he is starting to be a little thief!! Iknow they can cause blockage that is why I so mad a my fiance because he leaves stuff laying around all the time were he can get it. He chewed up a wicker/hay like placemat the other night. He is turning into a little devil.

Ahh the teenage years, and the training of the significate other. I had to train my DH too. He learned real fast after loosing a few remotes and a cell phone!

Pimp be a good boy and don't drive your mom to drinking!

Sadie never did, Star is a total sock stealer I take it right away after my niece telling me about her chesapeake bay (Scout) swallowing her underwear and it took three days to pass that must have hurt :eek:

Just like Lucky, Porter likes them best when they are on our feet. This is the reason why my house stays so neat! To keep the monsters safe!! DH has even learned to close his dresser draws!!
