So my 2 boxer have not ever been this bad I came home from the store and there kong toy must have been wedged into the corer of the sofa (by the way the sofa is brand new leather) they must have been digging for it when some fuz (they love fuz and stuffing from things) and they ripped apart one whole part of the leather. All the filling was every were and now I have to try and get a leather repair kit. I just want to cry they never did anything like this before yesterday they ate there bed in the living room. I just don't know whats going on.

Kallie was wonderful when i kept her at home during the day... never into anything I was so happy when she was old enough that I didnt have to kennel her during the day. That was until we brought home her brother Mr. Beefy (pug) The first day he was here she tore a 8" hole into the arm rest of our microfiber couch, tore all of the stuffing out and strung it all throughout the house. I guess it was her way of telling us she wasnt so happy about the new addition. Thankfully they have adapted to each other quite well. But i do know where your coming from with the couch. I was so upset when i came home to that.

Oh my goodness. I can understand how frustrated you must be. Your new couch!! I would be mad too. However I do know that you can have it repaired and you won't even see where it was torn. Ms. Ali jumped on my son in law and tore his brand new leather coat a few years back and he had it repaired and you can't even see where it was torn. My leather couch got torn too and I had it repaired with no problem. But when it's brand new it's so very frustrating. When boxers are bored - LOOK OUT.

I feel you about just wanting to cry. I think I would still be bawling my eyes out in a week or two. Good luck with getting it repaired.

Abbie has always been really good about not tearing up the house. Every day when I got home from work all of her toys would be out of her box on to the floor but never any damage to my things until I brought A.J. home and then it was a crap shoot every day. They completely destoyed my over sized chair among other things. I was so angry but I can never stay mad at them long.

That's one more reason to not replace my furniture for now! Wow..so sorry to hear about your new leather couch. I would check into their activity level and making sure you meet their needs. I've noticed Buster is much more wound up now and usually takes something off the Xmas tree every day and destroys it (usually pine cones)...but it also correlates to me walking him less (heck, I haven't done it at all for 2-3 weeks because it's so cold or raining). Once I get around to getting him a coat, I'll get back out there. But, he's definitely more wound up and into things now and I'm sure it relates to him not getting exercised enough. For your boxers, maybe it was the same thing...combined with their kong stuck and they were bound and determined to get it. Once the stuffing showed up, all bets were off! I know Buster goes crazy over stuffing too! It's crazy!

Thanks for all your support! were 18miles south of Cleveland.

Oh So I thought this was just a one time thing and that they would NOT do this ever agean. I repaired the seat and cleaned it (just in case it smelled like peanut butter still) They were left alone once more while I went xmas shopping. OH MY GOSH they did it once more. I bet your right about them not having the normal amount of exercise. The cold is not fun for play time. I took out there crates and am going to use them till spring. I hate to but I can have my house destroyed. I don't think its my boy he never did anything like that and Roxy today when I came home had her blanket shredded in her crate so I hope after the winter I can try to let them be free. There not home alone very often I only work 3 days a week and my husband is a firefighter/medic so he is only at work every 3 days. I will be very scared to leave them alone
