Boxer Insane
LOL Funny story. Hurricane has been very very good thus far. Not once chewed on anything he shouldn't, gotten into anything except for the dessicant packet (see my other thread for THAT story) but today, ah today he became a boxer!
I had a heat pack. I don't know if anyone else does this, but we always filled a sock with rice, tied it off, then you can microwave it for a minute or two and it makes a great heat pack for sore muscles, etc. Cheap too!
Anyway, I had it out last night for my ankle, and this morning before I left for work I left it downstairs on a table. I leave before DH gets up in the morning, and when he got up later and took a shower, in the ten minutes it took him to shower, Hurricane jumped the gate to downstairs, found the heat pack, and decided that it would make a WONDERFUL chew toy!!
Needless to say, he tore a hole in it and then decided to do the whole "death shake" thing with it.... and threw rice ALL OVER the living room, behind the TV, under the couch. Everywhere.
My husband got out of the shower to a mess....
Then he called me at work and told me what "my" dog had done while I was gone....
We have been initiated!

did the same thing with a 4 lb. bag of rice. I was gone less than 30 minutes and she got the bag out of the cupboard and must have had a really good time. I cleaned up rice from the kitchen and living room for HOURS! I am still picking up rice whenever I sweep or vacuum, and it's been nearly two weeks since the Mali rice fest!
